You win cases and they won't give a dam where it came from, trust me. I know LSU law school grads that are out of work.
Look at the wall next time you are sitting in there waiting for him to come in and give you an "exam". The degree should be there
When I need one I get the best. The one who did my knee surgery does a lot of work on NFL'ers. He's a Brunet. When I heard he had a lot of NFL clients what more did I need? To each his own I guess. As for a Lawyers go they don't even learn how to practice until they get out anyway so that shows how illogical that thinking is. Old saying is the "A" students make the professors, the "B" students make the judges and the "C" students make the money.
The problem is that even in state(New York) right now the average is $5000+ for the SUNY system(and that's skyrocketing also). I made the decision that I'd rather go out of state, because cost isn't the only benefit I feel that I receive from LSU. I think their program for business is good and it was rated high and the price for out of state was lowest at the time. So I feel it was a good decision because LSU had a good program in my major and was cheapest for universities out of state. It's little over twice as much, but it's worth it to me. That $1400 increase isn't surprising, but I think it's a little bit excessive. My estimates might've been around $500. Personally, I definitely feel that I learn more at LSU than I do at a community college. It feels more like at the CC that the teachers were there to grade stuff. I didn't have to study, nor ever read anything or do homework. I guess it works out because you get a degree, but if you don't learn anything what is the point? At least here now that I am in business courses I feel that I am learning useful stuff. I also wanted to have an authentic campus life. I could have stopped after the 2 year degree also, and had a job as a mechanic. However, I was advised by nearly everyone in that field to get the business degree, because you can't ever get out of the entry level mechanic position without it. You might make a decent living, but it's long hours that are damaging to your body and they advised against it. My parents wanted me to stay in college and not try to go back later, so I did that also. It really wasn't just me picking out the football team and saying I'll go to LSU, though I did want to go to a school with a team.
For anyone it applies to... Student Aid on the Web Student Loan Forgiveness for Public Service Employees. Started in 2007 and you have to make 10 years of payments, so 2017 is the earliest date to apply to have the rest of you loans wiped out.
