We've been throught the discussion about how everything has gone right as far personel moves compared to the past years, so I'll leave that alone. But what I notice now is for the past few years you would hear Aaron Brooks has another great statistical year, even though we all knew it was from playing from behind after he gave them the ball 3 times. Now Drew Breeze has 4066yds passing (Saints franchise record) with 3 games to play and most of those yds are when we already had the league.

Seems to me that we erasing that reputation that the Saints have had for 30-something years.

You have to believe that it is way more than statistics that has changed the reputation of this Saints franchise for this year. Everybody knew during the AB days that the team lacked leadership on and off the field and now they have plenty of both with Brees and Payton. I hope they can keep it up for the rest of this year and years to come. It' is a great feeling to go to work mondays and have both LSU and Da Saints kick a$$ all weekend.

I swore way back when that I would not invest anymore emotion into the Saints. Well this team has won me back. What a fresh outlook this new QB and coach bring. I can't believe I'm thinking it but the Saints are good enough to make it to the Super Bowl. ( It was theraputic to type that ! )

No doubt about it. Right now the Saints are the best TEAM in the NFC. Yes, even better than the Bears. They have as good a chance as anyone to make the SB. It's amazing what a good coach and a smart qb can do for a team.

Payton is the brains and Brees is like this machine-like figure that goes out and executes. He's an automaton.
