I think Shepard deserves 18. I feel that he has sacrificed alot for this team and for LSU. He could be playing quarterback somewhere else, wouldn't help him in the long run, but still.

playing WR is what is best for him if he wants to play in the NFL. Look at Pat White, Saban recruited him as a DB but he wanted to play QB instead. awesome in college, but only made it one season in the NFL before nobody wanted him.

so rewarding Shep for doing what is best for himself and his future doesn't make sense

the best argument I've heard for rewarding Shep is for his actions as a recruit...he brought a lot of good publicity to LSU and was very proactive helping us get some very good recruits. we should always be thankful to him for that

 

I know that but he wears #23 as a super bowl champ I should have cleared that up.
