    Louisiana State University, Tigers

    Value: $76 million
    Profit: $31.7 million
    Conference: SEC
    Head Coach: Les Miles

The addition of an eighth home game helped LSU's value increase 11% in one year.

And 8 of the top 15. We truly are a dominant conference.

Anybody else notice that the combined take of Bama and AU are equal to the GNP of that entire state?

    That's not right!

Which is a representation of the financial payoff due to a super conference, 12 teams and a CCG. It's TV money, not dominance per se.

I'm curious to see how ND's windfall is impacted by this season if at all.

Huh? AL produced over 160 billion in product last year...

It is high time that some of this money be returned to the players. Not in the form of a cash but maybe in complimentary schooling, when their football careers are over (to boost low graduation rates), extra tutoring, or maybe discounted tuition for their family members. I know lots of these guys are getting "free rides" but the time pressures to excel at football and meet the academic requirements is too much for many of these guys.

I'm shocked that SC is only at #14. Say what you will about all the shenanigans at USC and that its only won one NC, but I figured SC would be in the top five with the way ESPN hypes them and all those SC 'fans' filling up its stadium.

I'm curious and like to see how the details behind Forbes analysis. Its curious that the article mentioned apparel cause I always thought that fell into non-sports category even if people were buying it when the team was winning.
