LSU didn't quality to play Oklahoma. They're 12-1. LSU is a "Settled" 9 win team.

 

Perhaps you don't understand the concept of a hypothesis. The committee could have easily put LSU in the Sugar over Florida and put Georgia in the playoffs over Oklahoma. The LSU-Oklahoma matchup was closer to reality than you know.

 

Have you seen the votes? Which coaches in the Coaches Poll put LSU in the Top 4? They list them you know.
