For Miles to even had a Chinaman's chance to beat Alabama a second time he would have had to change the game plan from the first game. I feared but knew that he wouldn't. Nick Saban knew it too and had no fear. Miles should have known then that Saban would be ready for his approach and changed it. But he was too stubborn. We never had a chance to win that game and anybody who believed that Fudd would ever, ever get a clue and abandon his leather helmet philosophy probably believes that the deed to the Brooklyn Bridge they bought from a homeless guy is valid.

No, we didn't have a chance in the championship game. However, the game from '12 I was talking about was the one in Tiger Stadium when Chavis' prevent defense lost the game at the end.

This. It is so obvious there are some on here that still have some sour grapes from the hire of Eaux and it is as if they are hoping he will fail just to say I told you so. I point out again Herman is sucking it up in texas and jimbo just got his shit kicked in by a non ranked nc state team. We are fine, Eaux will do fine he just needs some time to get his guys. Now if I am wrong and this shit continues to look horrid in 2 years or so I will have no problem getting on board with the new minions. But to imply we are back in the curly days after the beginning of the tenure of really any coach, is simply an asinine emotional statement.

Lets face it I dont think there is anyone else we could have gotten (yes even slick nick back in BR ) and I think we may be in the same situation. You guys think the delicate flowers that Eaux ran off would have stuck around with the little dictator down the road running the show? Shit no, they went from getting to do what they want and always assume that if you are a senior you start to having to be responsible for your decisions and earn you damn spot.

MIles and Chavis choked twice.......put 2014 on there too. Now Texas A&M has experienced 1st hand what we did. On the other hand........it is amazing to see what La., players LSU chose to pass over for some other "ranked" guy do pretty well at TCU. Turpin has been nothing short of amazing. Diarse had a huge catch for a TD against OSU this weekend.

I would have "settled" for one transition over mid field.......and playing every QB on the roster until they found one that could move the team........if they did that and lost, at least you knew Miles would leave no stone unturned. Testament to Miles "skill", he still has no coaching job and is acdtively looking.

Actively looking might mean looking on the same golf courses where OJ looked for the "real killer."

Herman has a history of success as a Coodinator, including a NC, and turned a Houston team with little talent into a top 10 team. Took over an absolute cess pool in Austin and is in a true rebuild.

Fisher has 2 SEC titles as a OC, a NC as an OC, 3 conf titles as HC, and a NC as a head coach. plus put something like 5-6 straight QBs in the first round of NFL draft. Lost his starting QB week one and is relying on a freshman.

O has a history of fielding terrible football teams. Took over a top 10 level team. has a 5th yr SR quarterback and a heisman candidate RB. By every account, this was supposed to be plug and play. “With a better coach than Miles, we’re a playoff team”. Now that we sucking ditch water, people are coming up with tons of excuses.

Herman and Fisher at least have resumés that give you confidence that this is just a lull for them and they can and probably will be successful.

O has a resumé that says this is status quo for a team coached by him. Nothing anywhere in his past says he’s capable of doing any better than what you see right now.

Fisher was my first choice. I started to lose interest in Herman when Houston started to mail it in after the rumors started about Herman leaving. He was a great coordinator and he had success at a mid major but he is still unproven at the top level. There are lots of coaches who do well at smaller programs but almost none of them turn out to be an Urban Meyer.

Does not matter what Fisher and Herman have, had, will get, 1 is 0-2 and the other 1-2, both will lose again. The Qb problems at LSU are squarely on Miles, #16 isn't the first average one or even the 3rd. As for Houston not having talent......would you take Ed Oliver, their QB last year, their Qb this year???? Did you see the coaching BLUNDERS Herman made against Maryland??? Saban 25-22 first 4 years at MSU, good thing they did not base his future on what he did before MSU. Swinney........19-15 first two 1/2 years at Clemson, same thing for him.....oh but wait, he was only a OC. The coach everyone has overlooked and I thought they would go after is PJ Fleck.........he will out prepare anyone.
