Not at all... having a bigger and better site built, it'll be back up in a few months with a lot more advertisement being done.

I don't care to get into a discussion of which QB is better than which (I've accepted the fact that tiger fans will always call for the back-up QB and no amount of reasoning will change that.)

However, I think your statement is inaccurate.

If JLee did not fit int othe style CGC runs, why was he recruited in the first place? Let's say your answer to that is, "We were just picking up the best we could."

Fine, then about this year. We already have RS picked up. The highest rated dual threat QB in the country. But we also pick up CGarrett, a traditional Drop back passer.

I have a feeling CGC knew what he was doing when he offered CGarrett, so it's obvious that he wants both style of QB's.

My personal feeling is that CGC would like to modify the offense to his own version of the Wildcat. "Wild Tiger". If you have a drop back passer under center, and a very capable dual threat in the slot position and put him in motion. . .you could run any variety of plays. I also think you can't underestimate the benefit of having a drop-back passer when the game is on the line late.

My point of this thread was not to bash anyone... or make blind comments about Lee. It's obvious he's struggled this season, and it's blatantly obvious that he's made some very bad throws that ultimately cost us two wins (UGA and Bama). But the point was to show the comparison of him and RP in terms of success/ failures this season.
I just meant that as coveted a player as Perriloux was, with all the talent that he's got, he's seemingly suffering in a far less competitive conference than Lee has in the best conference in the nation. Nothing else.
I've also stated, whether or not he fits into GC offense, like others have said... he's young and will improve as I have seen moments of brilliance out of him and that imo... he will improve in the offseason and be a better QB next season. I do agree with most on here that after seeing JJ play... his light seems to be on brighter than Lee's... but that Lee will still be a good QB at LSU.
I'm a diehard LSU fan... and win or lose I will always cheer for them, I just can't seem to bring myself to publically bash a kid that got thrown to the wolves with zero experience. Maybe I will be wrong in the end, but I think Lee has something special and it will come out.
Sue me for trying to be optimistic I guess.

yove said several times that RP is in an inferior league. Look at the ONE stat you failed to notice. Number of sacks. Apparently Perriloux is playing for a team with some Offensive pass protection issues, albieit less interceptions which could be luck or expereince or both? who can say?
Maybe he would have done the same as Lee or maybe not but I doubt you could sell that idea to anyone, for two reasons. From past history RP looked pretty good behind the O line we had last year. ( again not a real comparison but as close as we can get ) and 2. it doesnt matter he is gone.

Your point cant be made really. Too many variables.

I agree to some extent... tons of variables was just comparing stats. But the line we had last year could protect you or I long enough to make throws to our best ability. Our O line this year isn't near where we were last year.

Irregardless of how Jarrett Lee compares with Ryan Perriloux, I think most of us are glad Lee's on the team and Perriloux isnt. But just to think outside the box (a lot), with his size and speed, does anyone think Perriloux would have helped us out this year as an outside linebacker or something.

Talk about your fantasy football...:insane: (tongue firmly implanted in cheek)
