I would NOT be calling for Les' head. We may not make the NCG this season, but it can still be a winning season (again). Like McTiger said...
I never understood this call for Les to be fired, it makes no sense. And the recent game against Alabama is over... we lost. And IMHO, we lost because we didn't blitz the last play. Why they changed the D for that last Bama TD is beyond me. Though that mistake cost them the game, it shouldn't cost anyone their job (would you honestly want to give up Chavez over this loss?) - I wouldn't! Hell, we lost him and I think every school out there is ready to snatch him up. Anyway, with the winning seasons we've had with Miles/Chavis, I think we leave well-enough ALONE. I was a fan when LSU were losing all the time, I am thankful for these new times!

I agree with everything you said, except one. We DID blitz on the last play, after allowing them to gain 60 yards in 3 plays because of the soft zone we were in. After that, Chavis dialed up a blitz that everyone read from a mile away and Bama called the screen - TD, game over, drive home safely.

Nfl scout was on yesterday and said LSU has had the best team the last 4 consecutive years. He was speaking in terms of talent, obviously.
