I talked to one of my buddies last night and he made the same arguement. I suspect that could have happened but CLM senses that last night was not the right time to put him in.

Maybe but Matt Mauck came in as a freshman and did a good job.
Matt Flynn as a first year starter also.
We can win without top qb's but your qb can't turn the ball over consistantly.

People here including you are also assuming that JJ will be as bad as Jarrett Lee.
That is quite a reach if you ask me.

Why did Meyer play Tebow as a freshman behind Leak from some of your scenarios.
Why did Nick Saban alternate Josh Booty and Rohan Davey, destroyed their confidence?

but here's the thing with those scenarios, when hatch was healthy, we had some dependable play to back up Lee's "raw talent". leak was backed up by tebow and booty and rohan, with that, it was experience backing up talent and vice-versa...we don't have that now

    What do we have now?
Hatch isn't healthy for one thing and none of our qb's have experience so it cancels out the experience factor?
The way I see it we have no qb's other than Lee with experience, no?
It seems to me none of these qb's are ready yet.
Do you actually think Lee is ready to be a fulltime starter in the SEC?
I don't, he's too inconsistant but I'm not trying to blame him alone either.
The coaches have to have something to do with it.

I don't know, seems like you made my argument, no one has experience so therefore everyone should be in the mix?

OK. SD has laid out his case. All of his evidence is on the table. Should Lee have sat for JJ last night? Let's weigh the facts.

SD's points vs. Miles decision not to play JJ.

    Hmmmm. I'm going with Les.

I'm going to have some fun with this thread next season. :)

I heard a stat driving home last night that the most pick/6 thrown in a career (not a season, but a career) was 7. If I'm not mistaken, I think JL's thrown 6. I think he should play next weekend against Troy just to see if he can tie or break the record.

i have no problems with that, you are free to do whatever you wish.

    Please explain?
You think Jarrett Lee is going to look like Dan Marino in an LSU uniform?
