I was thinking about this the other day - remember that old school Steve Sabol show called 'Football Follies', where they'd show bloopers, crazy plays, and wild endings to games? They could make a whole season, not just one show, on just the Saints. From ending Tampa Bay's 26 game losing streak at the start of their franchise, to Carney's mixed xpt in Jax, the history of the Saints is littered with Football Follies, with us being the 'folly' 99.999% of the time. I can think of a million right of the top of my head, not even counting the obvious ones, like the minnesota miracle or the NOLA NO CALL. I remember a game a couple of year's back versus DEN where they're winning 23-17 with about a minute left to play. We score and all we need is the XP to take the lead, but instead of that happening, they block the XP and return it for the 2pt conversion. So, not only did we not take the lead, the game isn't even tied anymore. And yes, that ended up being the game winning play for them. I've never seen that happen before or since. That's the kind of agony you experience when you're a Saints fan. Anyone got anymore? I do, but I'll save them in case anyone else wants to list theirs.
the Ducks really stunk it up for at least ten years before I went to school there and another ten seasons after,.. bottom 10 bad I remember this one game, where we were actually in a position to win,.. with only a couple of minutes left, the Ducks were driving down the field, a TD meant Oregon victory,.. the Ducks were inside the 10, clock running with only seconds left, our QB quickly threw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock,.. on fourth down
