couldn't really agree with this any more. :thumb: but i can add something to it: when you must absolutely BE in the stadium, it's not like it's difficult to find a ticket to any game just by looking around outside the stadium. and even if you have to pay more than face value, it will even itself out when LSU plays teams like ULM and you get to stay home (or outside the stadium with your tailgate setup.) of course, season tix are pretty nice to have. you can get to know the people around you, you don't have to worry about not having a ticket to a blockbuster game, and it's easier to get post season tickets. i was thinking about just submitting my name to the list, and pay what i can so that when i get to the point where i can afford the tickets i will be in position to get them. if not, i'm sure it could be lucrative to transfer my spot in line if ever i needed something that money alone couldn't buy.
Once my children are both at LSU I'm sure they will get my tickets for friends and dates. The above will likely be my only option and its not a bad option at all :thumb:
i've honestly put alot of thought in this. My friend will lend me his extra box, all I have to do is pay the activation fee (or maybe the monthly rental from DTV). I have the dish and everything else. My problem is, I live in MS and nobody is a tiger fan (except 1 other buddy of mine.) But I figure if I do this, I should make a bunch of friends at TS real quick. When this happens, I'll let everyone know.
Make sure it's oriented in the right direction. Otherwise you could do something dumb like think you're recording a certain national championship game only to find out later you recorded nothing but 4 hours of a black screen. :bncry:
