Tigers gone in NC game and Saints done for the year. What a miserable way to end this season. You kind of felt like we were on borrowed time the last 6 weeks. Sickening.
It is an awful feeling We can still possibly finish strong with a miracle needed to get in the NC, but yeah I feel sick to my stomach
I agree with the living on borrowed time, but come on, we have a shot at the SEC Championship and a Sugar Bowl Invite. Could easily end up 12-2, I'll take that.:thumb:
Good point. It's not what we had in mind, but not a bad way to end the season. I refuse to see Tiger Forum have a Bama style meltdown. Sure, I'm sad, but at least it's been a crazy ride and we still have good stuff to look forward to. Our own BCS guru can figure if there's a way the NC game could still happen...
I'm glad you'll take that. 12-2 would be a very good record but it's another season of lost opportunity. I really would be shocked to see us win next week. I think this team is out of gas. Dorsey, Stelz and Beckwith probably won't play. Their really is nothing to play for. You won the Sugar Bowl 2 of 3 years. Big deal. The only thing left this year was the NC. Anything less is a disappointment, IMO.
Nahhh, it's dissapointing cause it was our chance to loose...It's not like we needed help...All we had to do was win out...We've been at the top all season,so I guess winning the SEC and playing in the Sugar is consolation, but so what???
We will fall no lower than 7, right behind Georgia. Who we will possibly play in the SECCG. Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma will knock each other out. Then West Virginia needs to lose to U Conn, and ASU already lost to USC. Leaving us to play OSU if we play and beat Georgia.
Mike, God Bless you but it's over. We are out of the NC race. We will fall to at least 7th or 8th. It is impossible to us to play in the NC game. End of story.
sickening? the team you purportedly support lost in 3 ot's. heartbreaking, yes but your implication that the Tigers somehow failed you is sickening to me. then go away. those of us who support this team and their effort will gladly watch and support this team as they play for the SEC Championship the end of the story is that this team will continue to battle and compete while "fans" like you fold like a deck of cards.
