Football '09 schedule question

    Sorry if this has already been discussed...

    I noticed that the game vs Arky after Thanksgiving is scheduled for Saturday night rather than Friday afternoon. Is this permanent? If so, I for one like it. I always prefer Saturday to Friday, even on the road.

    CBS has a two year deal with Alabama and Auburn for that Friday. After that I would imagine they will reevaluate the games - unless something has happened that I am unaware of.

    Yep, that is the deal. I like the changed and hope they extend the contract with Bama/AU or go with another set of SEC teams.

    So the Arkansas-LSU game won't be televised live then?

    It most likely will but who knows what time with the new ESPN contract. It could be on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN classic, or ESPN 360.

    This is assuming CBS passes on our game on Saturday.
