Well people were starting to say can he get to 60 TDs. He had a wakeup call from the lowly Jags. Only 2 TDs, 1 Int and a QB Rating far below 90. Just wait til the pressure comes from Indy next week, and then the Chiefs later in the season. He hasn't had pressure on him all year long. Brees, Brady and Rodgers would have the exact same stats as Peyton under the circumstances. Titans, Texans and Patriots defenses also await him. Even the Chargers defense looks like they have gotten themselves on track last night vs Andrew Luck, holding him to just 9 points. That's 8 of the last 10 teams he has to face. Oakland is even playing better defense now. No more layups from here on out. I wish him the worst. My prediction is that he ends up with 48 TDs and 11 interceptions. A great season, but not the 64 TD, 4 Interceptions some were thinking he could pull off.
And an early exit from the playoffs once again. I don't think people seriously thought he would throw 64 TDs. They were just 'projected numbers', far from realistic.
But you gotta wonder if Flynn is just keeping the seat warm for EJ Manuel and what Flynn's long-term options are in Buffalo. They are gonna put Manuel back as soon as he can go.
u serious Clark? I love the guy, but if you cant beat out Pryor, thats really a tough sell at this point.
As much as I like Flynn for his guts and savvy, he is a back up at best. His arm has always been too weak to make the tough throws. He gets timed out quickly by pro CBs. He can sub and do well but as a starter he would be at the bottom of the league. Physical capability not smarts, heart or football knowledge.
