We all know that the Gators went through an offensive coaching change this off-season. How will it be different from the last few years? Can we expect it to be better or worse? Maybe a little bit of both? I'm of the opinion that CUM is actually the mastermind and that the new OC will just be another manager and figurehead that will pad his resume on UM's talent and move on to a HC job in a few years. Florida fans opinions welcomed.
same concept as DC under Saban... who is really running the defense? Either way the OC/DC is learning under HC but does it really matter when the HC can step in if need be.
I'm pretty sure Meyer lost his OC when he left Utah and just promoted Mullen...obviously without missing a beat.
I think this is obvious. And it also begs the question, 'What, exactly, does Miss. St. expect from Mullen?' Certainly, they're privy to the fact that he was Meyer's OC in name only. I know that they don't exactly get the pick of the litter when it comes to coaches, but they're fooling themselves if they think that he's going to bring the same things to the table as Meyer.
a much better question since UF isnt missing a beat. the only more questionable hire was Lane Kiffin. it took me about 20 secs into his pc to worry for the UT faithful. Its going to be hard for someone that immature even as acting HC to be successful. Unless daddy is there to burp him, of course. Or he proves to be another SOS.
Look for MSU's offense to change drastically. Addazio has been around for ages, don't expect much to change at UF. There's talk of Pro-Formations in the 30ish point lead times for Tebow I believe, but that's about all the change you'll see. Hopefully more improved inside running from Demps and Rainey will come, though Florida does a lot of inside running, those guys got a lot of yards off big runs.
