I didn't see the game but from what I hear Tebow was still passing it downfield after having scored 70 points. Say what you want, but I'd think 70 is enough. I really don't think The Citadel was in any position to make a comeback. I understand style points, but come on. Let's put the subs in when it gets to that point. I was pulling for Florida to win the SEC, but now I think not. As hard as it is to say, I hope Alabama kicks their butt. In all honesty, Alabama strikes me as a team that has fought very hard to get where they are. They are not cocky, they just come out and try to play their best every week. They are well-coached and well-disciplined. They are a blue-collar team. Florida is loaded with rock stars. Florida will probably win and I will pull for them in the NC. But I think Alabama has shown much more class in getting to the top level.
Tebow was pulled in the 2nd qtr and they ran the clock out before the half instead of scoring. Just happened because the Citadel sucks that bad. I stopped following it after he 3rd.
I was just going by what Tim Brando said. It is quite possible he knows nothing about what he is talking about, like me
I don't have a problem with Florida throwing, up 70, as long as Tebow was pulled and bench warmers got plenty of playing time.
Tebow threw a total of 11 passes for 200 yards. He's been pulled in the last like 5 or 6 games and hasn't thrown more than like 15 times. He was pulled in this game before halftime and we could have easily scored at the end of the 2nd but we didn't (first time I've ever seen a team kill the clock in the 1st half). We had our 1st and 2nd team out of the game after that and I think we put in water boy. Brantley got a lot of reps which he will need now that Cam Newton is suspended.
Tebow didn't even play half of the second Q. It was mostly Brantley and the rest of the second and third string that took over. How do you think the Citadel put up 19 points??? Please fact check thanks.
