First 3 game win streak over UF since the late 70's.

And we got the ball first with all the momentum. It was an opportunity to turn the game into a route, but once again Miles goes all Bo. He definitely went Lesticles at times but not until it was do or die time. This should have been a signature win for the season, instead it's a squeaker win, but a quality one.

A win is a win no matter how ugly. Seems like we say this a lot! That bad 3rd quarter unfortunately let UF back in it. I don't understand the play calling on offense in the 3rd, leading to 3 straight 3 and outs. We really could have iced the game early. In any case, UF is a good team, and I know we will all take the win. We're the only remaining undefeated SEC team. Every team is flawed.

The good news tonight is that Harris played well again, the stout UF defense couldn't stop LF7, and the defense stepped up when it had to. I feel good about our chances, even with the horrible ST play.

The 3 consecutive 3 and outs set the tone. The play calling on those drives:
Run (holding penalty, repeat first down) run LF, run LF, incomplete pass - how many people, including yourself, were thinking, let's run it down their throat with LF to set the tone to start the half

Second drive 1st down run, 2nd down pass, 3rd down pass called, but BH scrambled

Third LF for 7 yards, LF for a loss, completion short of first

Is the play calling really that different, or did FU just come out and execute their D a whole lot better?

Harris was 10-12 for 180 something in the first half. He finished the game 13-19 for 202. That's the thing I don't think people understand. Yes a win is a win, and I'm stoked, but it didn't have to be that close.

Harris was outstanding and would have been better with better 2nd half play calling.

I honestly don't have the energy to be upset after this one. Yeah, it had some ugly moments but our offense put up 35. That should be enough every game.
