What those asshats don't get is that we did not need the SEC to offer up reasonable options, we offered them ourselves. The problem with the Gators "points" is that think everyone is at the same intelligence level as those jort wearing fools. They are the idiots, but they don't know it.
Full quote from Foley: "We made this decision to play the game in Baton Rouge," Foley said in a statement. "The conference office asked us to find a solution in working with LSU, yet LSU was never a true partner in our discussions. The Southeastern Conference offered some other solutions and the LSU administration made it clear that they were unwilling to consider other reasonable options."
I don't like this having to play 2 in a row in Gainesville. This season is a wash. The new coach will be hamstrung with a shitty schedule in a a season that may matter a lot more. We always have fucked up schedules. The onus was on UF not us but we have to accommodate them on their decision to do nothing. I'm not down with this.
Yeah that's why we shoulda cancelled it once we found out the alternative was to play 2 there. And fuck up this year for UF for playing dumb then trying to slander us.
So in a way the forced this on us which is somewhat good for Alleva in all of this but not happy with the outcome in the least.
Sankey is making it look like they also granted him greater power to set future dates when things break down. Hard to believe that wasn't the case already. On the bright side you get an extra SEC home game.
I heard last week that if LSU agreed to play 'Florida Nov 19th that the conference would pay the $1.5 buyout to South Alabama. LSU will sureely make more money playing the gay turds than SA. Unsold tickets will now be sold. More butts in the seats from even those who have tickets but weren't planning to attend means more concessions sold, more parking paid for, etc. What sucks is having to go to Gainesville 2 years in a row and having 5 road SEC games
