Just reading the ESPN article comments shows the ignorance of their fan base. One guy says USA offered to reschedule their game to 29th. Guess he forgot they already play Georgia Southern, morons. Others say it was infeasible, which I don't think is a word. No time to move, again facts and historical precedents are the natural enemy of jortz.
So did we ever get a good answer as to why this game could not be played at Florida? LSU with two losses already and little chance at the playoffs needed to play this game on the road. Florida, on the other hand, is still very much in playoff contention and I can't understand how they would ever agree to playing this game where they have not won in a while.
They were forced for waiting too late bc alleva wouldn't budge. But honored with b2b home games vs LSU as consolation.
