I didn't feel like we were the better team, and they had a boatload of injuries. We ran Fournette too much, we ran into a stacked box, but we looked a million times better than a Miles offense. We put our D in a bad spot too often by not having more success on O. Our offense was just ok, our STs stunk, and Eaux didn't have the guys ready to play. I'm going to say they whipped our ass because they stopped us when it mattered and were mentally tougher.
I woulda run it twice from the one. Didn't work. Sucks we lost. May have been a different look however. Biggest problem I have is the letting the time run down kills any flow on the offense. Line up and leave yourself options.
423 yards to 270 (you on 1 play) and holding possession for 34:02... that's domination... Turnovers by the players and bad play calling at the wrong time lost this one... And it had little to do with the time of the game
This site is so void of people who have no actual or IQ knowledge of football. Oh if we only had another OC we would be undefeated. This was probably one of the best offensive game plans I have seen at LSU in a while. We utilized every position in the passing game and caught them off guard on draws. We got beat because of player mistakes and our DL got whipped on one drive. Coach O told us 2 weeks ago we not as strong on the DL as he wants and it showed today, not his fault or Arandas fault they are both new here and wasnt the HC.
Man I felt we were better. The big mistakes cost us and one big play. Otherwise doesn't come down to 4th and one. Still shoulda won.
Weren't we favored by double digits? A big selling point to Eaux is that he was immune to not being ready to play.
I agree but I think Alleva told him last week he's not getting the job and he has lost his fire. Alleva just keeps screwing this team at every turn. I can't stand that dude. He continues to display bad timing which tells me he has no business as an administrator.
