That was him. Dude was balling hard all last season and I considered him to be one of the better defensive players in the SEC, ahead of many big names that didn't impress me.

Makes sense for the NCAA to want to "protect" players but yet it is ok for Savanna State to get ass pounded but receive over a 1,000,000+ for being a FBS'S schools bitch for a day. Give me a break! I hate it for UF and these players hope they all recover well. End of rant!

Wouldn't have done a damn bit of good in Easley's case. Muschamp said it happened in a non-contact drill.

We need not make practices non-contact. Injuries happen in sports. They are unfortunate, of course, but they are a part of playing the game.

But an injury like this isn't necessarily a contact injury. It could happen just as easily with a hard cut and/or twist for one reason or another.

Thought so. I don't want to see the nose tackle that can catch a receiver downfield and strip him.

I would think that no contact in practice would make it worse in games for injuries to occur. Contact in practice conditions the body for contact in games.

Definitely Matt Elam, dude could lay wood, he was lighting up his teammates like Karnell Hatcher last year.
