Gators win 24th in row over UK, 48-14 | KentuckySports.com And yet the LSU coaching staff still can't figure out how to use Sophomore Russell Shepard. Makes you wonder.
I stated in tirk's special teams thread how Meyer obviously realized his offense was struggling so he tried the two-QB system yest with Burton and their offense explodes. I know it was against Ky, but he had to do something before the tough part of their schedule begins, Bama next week.
Well, he's young. They are trying to keep the offense simple. They're keeping some plays close to the vest so they don't show everything in the arsenal. He'll get better. Give him time to grow.
I feel that by the time we have to play them, their offense may very well be hitting on all cyclinders just like two years ago in the swamp. Maybe I'm wrong for saying this but I just feel the idea of making Shepard a receiver is a mistake.
Do you mean as a QB or in the game plan in general? He gotten his fair share of touches this season...no? ETA: Actaully seems low...but passing game has a case of the sucks right now and Randle seems to beign getting more grabs with 11 for 173 yard and 2 TDs.
