Never been to Delmonico but I went to Emeril's NOLA. Good but not as good as I expected. I wanted crab bisque instead of something else on the dinner I ordered and the waiter said they only made enough to serve with the dinner that had bisque on the menu as part of that dinner.
We used to, back in the day, call restaurants and ask if they crab legs or frog legs. If they said yes, we would say,"If you wear pants, no one can tell." Simpler times, I guess.
