Now, if it's more amusing than anything else, I'll keep it. Otherwise, I can give you something besides the north end of a south bound elephant.
Someone needs to photoshop a newspaper in the elephants hands and that would make that picture very funny.
Hey Red, Why do i have a Red mark right below my avatar. Very disconcerting, distracting really. Me antisocial, I don't think so. Keep it positive, that's my mantra .
Thank you TT, I appreciate your attention on the matter. I realize this may not make your day, but it's starting to feel like home.
You are always welcome here.... Like I said I used to spend time on tidefans.com and really liked several of the people there. Terry is really nice. All of us have our good and bad fans...
Just the reputation system. When folks disapprove of a comment they may let you know. When they approve of one, they may do the same. It's not demerits or anything--just feedback on your credibility among the locals. Everybody gets negative comments. They get lost in the positive rep for those who are consistently credible. Rivals who come to criticize us on long-worn-out sore topics like your buddy Chukker V on this thread will end up with a lot of negative rep. Those that mix their criticism with some credit and recognize their own teams' issues tend to get a lot of positive rep and stick around for years. Others wear out their welcome very quickly.

I know the drill...to get in with the home crowd I am expected to criticise Bama's team or program. I read your postings here & on Tidefans, sometimes you seem to make sense, other times, not so much. I understand, with as much posting as you do, the rep system and posting in general is more important to you than to me (or most other people.) Yesterday, after I made the post in this thread, I checked back...one of my little red boxes had disappeared. It reappeared shortly. I figured someone had a positive reaction to my post, followed by someone who thought the opposite.
I agree with you. The reputation stuff is trivial. Anyone who posts regularly has a bunch of little green boxes. Even if that person is a complete idiot half the time. The only time it distinguishes "bad" vs "good" is for people with very few posts, like you. If you posted a hundred or so messages though, you would have just as much "green" under your avatar as anyone else. By the way, you can disable it completely and they won't be able to add any red to yours.
