Riley probably already knew he would get the Okie job. Patterson wouldn't have left TCU. Gundy probably would come for a big increase in pay, Not sure what Franklin would do. Brohm and Taggart were successful at mid-majors but had never coached a Power 5 team.
That's why I asked if it even mattered. Because no matter who any of us respond with there will be subjective reasons why they wouldn't or shouldn't have been the next coach of LSU to support the shit hire of Coach Ed O.
Doesn't mean it wasn't done on the quiet during the season. Oh hell, what am I saying. It's Joe Alleva, not Mark Emmert.
Also: Chip Kelly Dana Holgerson Larry Fedora Along with all of the aforementioned guys earlier in the thread. I would also have made David Shaw tell us no--even though living in BR would be a real come-down in the world after Palo Alto. I do not think that I, as AD, would have interviewed Orgeron, looked at his binder, and offered him on the spot--with a $12 million buyout.
The fact that it was even mentioned that he a snazzy binder makes me sad. Is Aleva really that stupid... it's 2017... you gotta at least have a powerpoint presentation.
