First of all, I just want to say that I'm psyched about the Beatles reunion album as mentioned earlier.

Second, I love the double-secret probation stuff. That should completely calm LSU fans down.

Yeah, we've all been spoiled. Even Mike the Tiger is a Diva now. If I thought it would help us win more home games, I'd pay for a Golden Girl to strip naked and entice Mike to enter the cage. A Golden Girl or one of your moms, whichever would be cheaper. I'm guessing one of the Golden Girls since they're probably all out of work these days. I'd probably go after Bea Arthur. She seems pretty hardup. Oh wait, y'all thought I was talking about an LSU Golden Girl? Oh hell no, that would cost me an arm and a leg. I'm talking about one of those old broads from that TV show.

Ok, I nominate you to break the news to Mike. Don't wait too long, remember he's only going to get bigger . . . .:lol:

Why not just shoot him? That'll be a lot easier on my nerves. If only I could kill an animal...

I really believe Miles will keep it all in house, and in a few days or so, we'll be told that a couple of our coaches have accepted positions at other schools, and he's found our new DC.

No way he "fires" these guys. They helped him/US win a championship. He'll help them move on.

Nothing wrong with saying he thought it was time for a change or wanted to go in a different direction, it happens everyday in the coaching world. Those that have trouble getting rid of dead weight usually don't last long. Miles can do it politely and quickly and still fire them. The longer he waits the less chance he has of finding quality replacements.
This is a much bigger task than simply replacing a coach that was promoted elsewhere like what happened at the end of last season. This is a major crossroads in Miles' career at LSU. He needs to choose wisely, a mistake here could be his undoing. Worrying too much about the feelings of those dragging him down takes his attention away from the task at hand which is finding quality replacements. Hopefully he will move quickly and make some quality moves.
