I don't see how. Especially if he's talking to someone who's currently unemployed (Chavis, Robinson), there would be no need to ask the current employer for permission to talk. Secrecy depends only on the two who talked (and probly the new DC's family...)
:geaux::crystal::helmet: Someone else besides CLM and Chavis, or whoever is bound to know. Someone in the Athletic Dept, someone who is a staff assistant or whatever. It's amost impossible to keep something like that a total secret and somehow word will get to one media type or another. Jim Donnan on ESPN is already reporting that Chavis as DC is a done deal. Might be true, might not be. Guys like Donnan have their sources and the burn the phones up trying to be first on something like this. Also, you have folks to call guys like Donnan and give them the news just 'cause they can and it makes them feel important to "leak" the news. I'm not sayin' it's impossible to keep news like this under the "cloak of secrecy". I am sayin' it's pretty difficult though. Many times, word gets out before you really want it to. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
No one knows anything, that's obvious. Everyone is mostly speculating on what needs to be done. I've yet to see one credible source with even one sliver of information on what actually has been done if anything. However if Miles has already hired someone I'm sure he would have told those that are being replaced and I doubt seriously they would be hanging around. If someone had cleaned out their office it wouldn't be a secret more than a few minutes.
