At the time when it looked like Miles would be fired, I said I would have been fine with either Fisher or Herman being hired. However, Herman was the one I liked better out of the two, and that has proven itself in this game. To your Point 1, Miles is criticized for not motivating his teams against (perceived) lesser opponents, as Fisher does not today. And having none of his players in jail (right now) may be a first for Fisher at FSU. I hope Herman doesn't go to Texas A & M. I am still hoping he'll coach LSU before too long.
I never understood the "I don't care to be here bowl game". Why? Obviously, the team didn't do good enough during the regular season for one of the 'main' bowls, so they're placed right where they belong. IMO....it says a lot about the players and coaches.
True. I guess FSU better do a better job next year, or they'll get invited to the Peach Bowl again. LoL
Big difference in the motivation I see from FSU today and LSU's motivation the other night. We looked hungry to play.
Ok, let me help you out Tap. Remember a few years ago when the gumps played OU in the sugar bowl. Someone here asked "does anyone here think OU has a snowballs chance to win this game"? I think @lsutiga and I were the only ones who said yes. Simple. The gumps didn't want to be there
I was, sort of, until I watched Herman and Houston play on that Friday. I liked what I saw from him that day. And today, for that matter.
