The dicks in Washington have kicked the can so long it's in Bangkok now. Time to either balance the budget or pay the boatman.

Small is the best description of the politicians in DC today. This particularily describes BHO who has provided no leadership in 4+ years. To quote "Mr. Obama likewise understands that the entitlement programs cannot continue on their path ...of perpetual growth. Yet since the election he has remained in campaign mode, pretending that the problem can be solved mostly by raising taxes on the rich. When he grudgingly agrees to a relatively small adjustment on the spending side — to the manner in which Social Security cost-of-living adjustments are calculated, for example — it is presented as a “concession.” But why is it something he has to concede, when such adjustments and many more are plainly in the national interest? Why is the nation’s leader not embracing and then explaining the balanced reforms the nation needs?"

$41 in tax increases for every $1 in spending cuts!? You have got to be shitting me. Boehner is a pussy. I could've negotiated better than that. If you have 3 trillion coming in it doesn't mean you can spend 4 trillion and expect the business owners to keep wiping your ass. There should be a law that says for every dollar spent over amount of revenue taking in. That dollar comes out of congressional and presidential pay and budgets. Bet that'd tighten their sorry asses up. And quit giving money to people studying bullshit like how fast ketchup pours.

Everyone notice an increase in taxes on your paycheck? Thanks gubment, continue to use my tax dollars to fund your bullshit wars and bloated military industrial complex, and lock people up for drug use. Our leaders suck and need to be fired, all of em.

We should have listened to Gore. If we had the extra taxes being taken out would be in a "lock box"

Haven't they been saying that for past few years ?

The fact were here today to discuss a raise in the debt ceiling is due to a cause in the lack of leadership.
