Missouri Tigers curators vote to consider leaving Big 12 - ESPN

Amazing how yesterday Mizzou was all Big 12 love in... Now....
    Not so much...

Notice the guy yesterday who was saying "We are staying in the Big 12" is stepping down.

Personally if we are going to get a 14th I hope its Mizzou of ALL of them.
It will create a natural rival for Arkansas (So we can stop this stupid Boot thing) give them a thanksgiving rival and we can assume A&M as our rival...

I hope it happens and all this ends.

    COME ON OVER MIZZOU !!!!

I think after arky coming from behind to beat tamu Saturday will help install a rivalry between the two. Tamu and arky do have history. The sec east is getting off easy with mizzo compared to tamu. Tamu is consistantly stronger than mizzu. All things are cyclic though and the east will eventually rise again. I wish we could swap auburn out to the east though. I don't think the east wants them either though.

I dont think Mizzou goes into the east.
I think they move Auburn to the east and we take Mizzou and A&M.

Auburn has already said it would be fine with that. The only issue to work is out is how does the Iron Bowl stay in tact because you know there is no way that goes away (Nor should it)

Funny I went to baylorfans.com and reading their "We are going to SUE !!!" threads and how they are so sure they are going to bring the SEC to its knees with their lawsuit against the SEC.... They really think they are relevant in the college landscape. I have friends from Baylor, All good people. But that athletic program is like that slow kid in school who you pick last for kickball..

They think they are all the rage this year for beating tcu and with their qb on heisman watch. The " I don't always play football , but when I do , I play qb for baylor university" dude.

I would be fine with Mizzou joining.
I think the SEC stops at 14 though.

Mizzou at least borders Tennessee and Arky, so the west teams catch a little break in away games. Sending the barn east is fine, but Alabama and Auburn having to play twice in back to back weeks, when we meet in Atlanta and we will, seems ridiculous.

Wow lots of faith in Aubbie there huh......

I agree there are two major issues to tend to with your Tide.
The Iron Bowl whcih cannot go away (I agree I love that game myself) and what to do with your yearly pissing match with Tennessee....

I am ALL for us dumping the UF game each year. We will still play UF in the normal rotation not just every year now.

We shall see. It sure is entertaining and its even better we are on the one conference that is stable...

Mizzou is the best option. I think they'll recruit better in the SEC too. I like the moves. Even as the strongest conference, it didn't make sense to watch everyone expand without increasing your own size. It's best for conference revenue. And we picked up two quality athletic programs. #SECwinning

I sense that the Tennessee game will go the way of the dinosaur. Same with your Florida game. Maybe have to play the barn somewhere around LSU time and move Bama vs LSU at the tail end. Maybe we'll be the southern, Michigan vs Ohio State.
