Not after the season started. Turned out to be the best thing to happen to Bama in years. Gators feel the same way. Sly has done a lot to help out Bama & UF. Thanks man. I felt like that after the Duke game, but didn't post it anywhere.
It was '05, after the 10 wins, that I wanted him gone. Within his second year I knew he wasn't going to get it done. But, like you, I didn't say a thing until after MSU. The Arkansas game really got to me...by Duke, I was just numb.
Roy Orbison In Dreams lyrics Roy Orbison A candy-colored clown they call the sandman Tiptoes to my room every night Just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper Go to sleep. Everything is all right. I close my eyes, Then I drift away Into the magic night. I softly say A silent prayerLike dreamers do. Then I fall asleep to dream My dreams of you. In dreams I walk with you. In dreams I talk to you. In dreams you're mine. All of the time we're together In dreams, In dreams. But just before the dawn, I awake and find you gone. I can't help it, I can't help it, if I cry. I remember that you said goodbye. It's too bad that all these things, Can only happen in my dreams Only in dreams In beautiful dreams Roy Orbison In Dreams lyrics
Why would losing to MSU be the best thing to happen to Bama? I would understand the logic if it happened to light a spark under the players for the rest of the year but that was not the case. UF went on to win a NC and the season is all that really matters. Shula was gone sooner or a slight bit later either way if that is what you are meaning to say. I didnt see Bama fans cheering at Tiger Stadium because of another loss to MSU. Dont really get that logic from you based on the post I have seen from you here and other forums.
I was thinking the same thing when I read the first post, I was thinking what kind of drugs are they on.
I like the confidence here. I'm not sure what to realistically expect from this game other than a "W" for the Tigers. I would love for State to get back to mediocrity, but it won't happen any time soon. You guys beat UF, and if (VERY TALL ORDER) you happen to beat LSU and Bama this season, it won't really mean much in terms of wins-losses. But, here's to a good game. Which, I guess in both cases means no injuries.
You shouldn't ding-a-ling your cowbell so close to your head. It can cause brain damage and bad judgment.
