Allright....i know its been a while since I boiled my own crawfish, but all this talk of crawfish is driving my insane. I plan on getting probably about 100 pounds flown in and will only cost about $300 from the couple websites I have seen. Whats the average amount that a person eats. I cant remember because I havent boiled crawfish in about 4 years and when i go home now all i do is sit down and eat them until the point of bursting. I just want to know how many people to invite and if i may need more than 100 lbs. Also...i will take anybody up on driving them here if they want to see the wonderful city of Charleston for any amount of time...my guest bedroom will be open for crawfish!!!! I could also arrange a nice fishing trip if needed!!
with the fixin's (potatos, corn, ect.) the "standard" is 3 pounds for a girl but and 5 for guys. Since I will be there I eat at least 5 pounds though.
You know you are always welcome...I am doing this on the weekend of March 16...which happens to be my B-Day and is St. Patty's day on Sat...so...mix in some good crawfish, with a b-day, then good drink specials on St. Patty's day, and you have yourself a royal hangover the next day. Those Irish Car Bombs will get to you!!
As long as I have a place to go and eat crawfish...Get them delivered to Orlando and boil them for a tailgate before the race!!!
I am having trouble finding someone to take off of work on such short notice and go with me down there. I will continue to work on that tomorrow though.
