I think, as usual Bama is the groom and everyone else has an equal chance of being their bitch. The teams that appeared to be trending up last year won't repeat that this year. Florida and AU were lucky last year, I think they fall on their face this year. Other than Nick the coaching in the SEC sucks balls and that will bear itself out with inconsistency from year to year.
I did like Miles as our coach, but I also felt it was time for him to go. But the fact remains that regardless of how many games Miles won or did not win, not beating Alabama since 2011 (and hence never being able to win the West) was his downfall. And, yes, there are multiple reasons why Miles couldn't beat Alabama--most of it having to do with his inability to develop QBs in his old-school offensive system.
Pretty much. When cheeseface mcelwain is considered the 2nd best coach in the league there's a problem.
Nonsense. Nick could win a NC with Etling...All of it having to do with Bama's lines always push our lines a little further back than we do them.
Sumlin is about as close to a lock as you can get. He hasn't proven the ability to do squat without that AA QB. Chief ain't all he's cracked up to be either, or at least not any more.
