Firing Miles would be both dumb and unprecedented

Other programs in this league, even very good ones like Florida and Auburn, have had losing records with teams like we had last year and in 2008. That is a sign that a head coach needs to go. As a substitute, I'll accept four or more losses three seasons in a row.

 

So we won 13 games in 2011 with the defense alone?

Sorry, got the years mixed up. We won ONLY 11 in his last year of 2010.

 

For the most part...yes, defense and special teams. We played safe, ball control offense. Our defense made most of the big plays that year.

 

That's really neat how the defense won the games singlehandedly in 2010 despite the team giving up 24 to North Carolina, 29 to Florida, and 36 to Ole Miss. No wonder A&M paid so much for Chavis.
