I am sure that there is a firefox theme link on this site somewhere.... and I was just wondering if any computer geniuses could update it because it won't on my firefox anymore because I have an updated one.... here is the link to the theme for anyone who wants it and for a computer guy to look at to see if you can get an updated one.... would make surfing the net that much better https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5608
Either the guy/gal who created the original would have to update it, or one of us would have to rebuild it from scratch.
not trying to be an prick.... because I really am not a computer type and have no concept of creating something like this... but how hard is it...
So what's the problem.....get to work. I miss this theme too. If someone finds it updated, I'd load it on my browser again too. Are there any other good themes out there that I should know about?
not that I can see... I use the Harley Davidson theme... but really miss my LSU theme.... would even be happy with a Saints theme that worked..
Oy, I am a servant of da peoples. I'll see if i can figure out how to make an updated one. No time table, but i'll get it done. Now to learn how to make a firefox theme....
Alright, it aint pretty but it works LINK OK, right click the above link and save it to a place you can find it. Then open the Add-ons window under the Tools menu. Select themes and the drag that file onto the window and follow the prompts. It needs some work to fix firefox's new layout, some buttons are missing, and i realy dont like distributing anything with toonces on it, but it's a start.
Nice, thanks a lot! Hey while posting this I realized the scroll bars on side and bottom are missing.
Yeah Thanks Pod! That is really cool! And the scroll bars are missing on mine also, although I don't use them anyways!
The alternative is to uninstall Firefox 3 (which I assume you have) and reinstall the final version of Firefox 2 (2.0.0.20), where the theme will fully work: http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.php?old_firefox=7#Download It looks phenomenal in Vista, and is the only reason I haven't upgraded to Firefox 3 yet.
