So the buyout, I'm pretty sure Les would almost instantly find another job somewhere, but I just heard something really crazy. Anyone want to take a crack at who the 8th highest paid coach was last year?
For $200, who is the 8th highest paid coach in college football at 4.3 mil/season? Who is Les Les Miles of LSU?
The worst thing that could happen is that we go 10-2 and keep Les. I'd legit rather win 5 games. Let's rip this f'n band-aid off.
This is what it will take to get rid of doofus... https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/n...howing-miami-fans-photo-175408799--ncaaf.html
No, it's not Les, the reason I brought it up was because of the buyout. It was actually Charlie Weiss and he wasn't even coaching. If Les was fired would he be at home for a year or coaching elsewhere instantly? Because LSU would still be paying him, and if he was at home, well, he would probably beat ole Charlie.
Charlie Weis hangs around Tuscaloosa and gets to all the games, says it has kept him sane in that he isn't coaching football. His son Charlie junior is an Alabama staff member. Back to the point. Buyout is something that just comes with the territory. I think Kansas and ND are still on the books with this guy. When Gus got the raise and extension for going 6-6 last season, I thought there's the ultimate football definition of stupid. Just have to hope Miles wants to keep coaching. A Kentucky, or someone will want him and he won't be able to help himself. Charlie Weis still wants to coach, he just doesn't have the options.
