Lee was quoted as saying it made him really want to play hard cause Miles had never "Gotten in his face". One thing about Miles, as much as I like to pick on his speaking (and I've found he's gotten much better this year) you can sense his intensity/passion when he speaks.

I'm still a Miles Man- it's those dam DC's that are getting my BP up. :angryfire

Paducah, I agree with that philosophy in management but football seems to be different than corporate America.

islstl, I think you are right. I would have liked CLM to get fired up with his defensive coordinators. I'm sure the discussion is heated when in private. At least I hope it is or maybe CLM is resigned to the fact that this "experiement" failed miserably and change is eminent.

I think if CLM does what he needs too with the DC's than he will garner much more respect in the ranks. If he does nothing to the staff look for a meltdown.

i have a friend on the team, and he can assure you that even though clm doesn't blow up on the sidelines he makes up for it at practice.

Too much of this type of reaction is a bad thing. There is arguably legitimate cause for concern.

It gets a bit tiresome to hear CLM needs to be more emotional on the sideline, like that was 95% of coaching. Does anyone really think we would have beaten Ole Miss if Miles had been more emotional? Was that the problem?
