He isn't ready for the NFL. He probably comes back, especially if they don't win the SEC and/or a national title.
dude's stats are almost identical to Denard Robinson's stats. Except touchdowns, which Cam is leading by alot. Denard Robinson has 1319 yards passing 9 td's, 5 picks, 67.8 completion percentage. Rushing 1096 rushing yards with 9 touchdowns, 8 yards per carry. Cameron Newton has 1364 yards passing with 13 td's and 5 picks. Rushing he has 1077 yards, with 14 td's and an average of 6.9 per carry.
I think he comes back because i am not sure if he will be seen as a qb in the nfl. But then again if the right people get into his head, then you will see him bolt to the nfl. Just like w/ good ol' JR. Other than that the only way i see him going is if he wins heisman and AU wins the BCSNCG, then i dont think regardless of where the NFL wants to play him his stock would ever get any higher.
the thing he has going for him though is his throwing motion. he has better mechanics than Tebow does.
Maybe we luck up and Cam goes to the NFL and is Drafted number 4 overall by Nick Saban and the Dallas Cowboys. :hihi:
I dont think he goes but there is another factor involved. Lack of a CBA in the NFL. Its likely no agreement will be in place before the underclassmen have to declare. I think it will impact PP too.
