ESPN had an article about Sheppard recently, about how he was a ball boy in 8th grade & wise beyond his years... I can't find the link, anybody have it? I am so glad to have him a part of our class. I would be incredibly jealous if he was committed to any other team. I heard Sheppard did not have a very impressive first game. His team has switched to a more passing style offense & it sounds like they're having some difficulty with it. Sheppard hardly ran the ball at all, and when he ran the option he pitched it almost every time. This is probably part design (Shep wants to be a better passing QB), and part defenses scheming to stop him from getting into the open field.
I have not seen it and I can't find it. Maybe do a search on the ESPN website but search "Shepard" instead of Sheppard.
