No one has been giving Ole Miss shit for hiring his brother, LSU hired him first. What everyone has been saying is that the guy seems like a headcase.
I've seen where people have said they didn't want to give him and undeserved job. Seems like we gave Narcisse's coach an undeserved job.
Maybe not... The only thing I know about the coach is that he had a quarterback who developed into a top prospect and presumably his coaching had something to do with it. What will be interesting to see is if the coach sticks at LSU. Anybody know anything else about the new LSU coach, including, what's his name?
Patterson's brother had a job at LSU, he wanted a better paying job. Ole Miss offered LSU did not. LSU felt he hadn't eared a promotion, Ole Miss did. Saying LSU shouldn't have offered a promotion isn't a criticism of Ole miss.
Correct...He didn't do much here and just wasn't that good at it from what I heard. Complained a lot too.
You win some you lose some. Dale Brown hired a couple of assistants who brought good players with them and turned out to be pretty good assistant coaches. Rick Huckaby brought Howard Carter and Ron Abernathy brought Rudy Macklin
