Feinswog sees us splitting those four games.

All he did was say we would win the games we are currently favored in, and lose the other 4. That was a huge limb he just climbed.

There is no way LSU goes 0-8 vs Ole Miss, Bama, Florida, and Georgia over these two seasons.

What a piece of crap article. I'm not saying so because he doesn't think LSU will have a great year, he just doesn't offer anything whatsoever to back up his prognostications. He could have just said "LSU will go 8-4 with losses to UGA, UF, Bama, and Ole Miss." and saved us the three minutes it took to read the rest of that turd. If you're going to assert that the Tigers will only be 1 win better than they were last year, you've got some convincing to do.

the problem in his thinking is this....

....no, that is the kind of reasoning you get from gumps.

even though yes, there are questions that wont be truly answered till the team is on the field of play, ALL INDICATIONS from practices are that the changes that have been made have corrected the problems of last year. most notably, on defense.

yes, the qb is still young and has to prove that he can consistently lead the team, but again, practice seems to show that the answer to that question is "yes".

can we lose all those tough game? of course we can. injury, hurricanes, anything can happen. but the results we are seeing from the changes made are showing that, barring any catastrophe, we can just as likely win.

Looks like he's picking LSU to lose the obvious (Fla) and all of the possibles (Ole Miss, Bama, Ga.) I think we should win one of those, at least. 8-4 is possible, but 9-3 is just as likely IMO

But every year, someone is way better than everyone predicted (last year:Bama) and someone falls on their ass (last year:LSU, Auburn) I'm sure we'll see that again this year.

I could just as easily turn Feinswog's line of thinking back at him:

"After both teams losing 4-yr QBs and other crucial offensive players, why do people think Bama and UGA are due to continue their success in 2009?"

Barring a total meltdown, I just can't see us losing all 4 of those games. That really is an awfully long and flimsy limb he just crawled out onto.
