I don't think that its as bad as the democrat Dingle saying they are going to control the people through health care.
If they try that they probably should be dead.

“Take [Rep.] Steve Driehaus, for example,” he says. “He may be a dead man. He can’t go home to the west side of Cincinnati. The Catholics will run him out of town.”

Exclusive: House Minority Leader John Boehner on the Health-Care Vote - Robert Costa - The Corner on National Review Online

it was irresponsible word usage at a minimum given the heated political climate, and may have been intentional word play by the potential future speaker of the house.

But you have no problem with Congressman Dingle right?
This is what happens when you go against the people's will and violate the constitution.
It is a risk that the congress took.

that kind of sounds like taking their side. what they did was criminal, political, and wrong. If you remember Congress actually said HELL NO to the bail outs when Bush proposed them. Then the sec of the treasury Henry Paulson, who was once a big whig for Goldman comes in works his magic, which means Goldman pays Pelosi, Dodd and company big bucks and they magically pass the bill to bail the banks out.

The banks are the ones that got themselves into that mess, they shouldn't have gotten 1 cent from us. They can fail just like any other business in America. They stole your money and my money to pay their CEO's huge bonuses.

Now, i agree with you, i think politicians should be held to the same standards that civilians are held to, but i also think if corporations can donate unlimited dollars, and act as a citizen then they should be held to the same standards as civilians also. Its crap, What Goldman, AIG, ****tybank, etc. etc. did, you or i would have arrested for.

We are in total agreement here.
Go back and read my posts here from that time period.
I was totally against the bailouts.

But I am totally against the political bs and threats for them and their families incited by the Democrats and their unions.
What about the people in Pittsburgh that were intimidated when going to vote?

This is America for god sake and Obama and the Dems have truly acted like it isn't in many instances.

Not directed at you here LaSalleAve.
You bet I am chuckling about what the Democrats are going through right now, it is the environment they have created since Obama was elected, we have mob rule, gangsters in control of this country.

    Edit: One more thing.
It seems to me you are misplacing the blame here.
The Bush Administration is responsible for and Henry Paulson are the ones here responsible for this otherwise they wouldn't have received funds not including Pelosi
    and Dodd.
Once again the politicians, congress get a free pass while the private sector is to blame along with private citizens.
