Let's see how this plays out in court. I think the burden of proof is on Trump to convince a judge he didn't have classified material in his residence.

That should be a piece of cake. They have the documents.

 

the issue would be the extent to which trump has the power to declassify, which i think if we study, we will find is very very broad, and effectively can be done simply by thinking about it.

the other issue is the extent to which, if any, these documents are special nuclear secrets and if that requires some special attention or are fundamentally unclassifiable. maybe they got him this time. bombshell its the beginning of the end

 

Trump HAD the power to declassify while in office. He couldn't wave a magic wand and declassify material in his residence if it was clearly marked as classified. I had a Secret clearance for many years and handling those documents required special attention and handling. I can only imagine material marked TS/SCI requiring much more attention.

 

And he said he did while in office. That is proof enough.

 

he could wave his magic wand and declassify everything he took from the white house. given that he wasnt even in the white house after biden came, we must realize the items were taken whilst he was still president, and therefore subject to his declassfiying ability

 

Maybe they need to go back a 4th time.
