I'll just send this post to the FBI and DOJ so they can close the case since you've obviously hit the nail on the head. This is just all a big misunderstanding and it's actually the GSA's fault and Trump was being compliant all along and that search warrant was just a political hit job, right? You are taking the right wing talking points and regurgitating them without thinking. So far, we have what Trump says versus what was actually contained in the search warrant. In order to receive that warrant they had to present evidence to a judge that retaining those docs was intentional and not accidental.

I'm not saying he is guilty or not. I am putting my faith in the FBI and DOJ over the word of Trump. Right now, neither of us has all the facts so ultimately right now we are essentially saying who we believe, right? Do you take Trump's word for it or do you believe the DOJ and FBI? Given what we know of the situation and the limited information we have now, I believe the FBI and DOJ. Who do you believe?

you use the words 'perhaps' and 'maybe' in a lot of your posts. These are subjective words and are used by a lot of fascist leaders to create a narrative that suits them. Maybe this happened....perhaps it was this. You use these adverbs to try and paint a picture that is conducive to your point of view. They are not, however, rooted in any truth....they are just guesses or what you hope is true. Maybe he was saving them to buy his asylum in another country if he had to flee to avoid being arrested. Perhaps he had them because they reveal his homosexual lifestyle? See....it's easy to use maybe and perhaps. What facts do you have?

so let me get this straight....you are now asking that we not assume anything but in your last sentence you used maybe and perhaps to describe your thinking. What's the difference? We are all just guessing right now, right?

 

If that's accurate, why were the documents still marked as Confidential, Secret, or Top Secret?

 

LOL....I'm sure @Jmg will be along soon enough to tell us, "maybe......" or "perhaps....." Never mind that everyone around Trump ends up in legal trouble or have already been convicted....because maybe he didn't really know they were all committing crimes. Perhaps, he was blinded one day and stumbled and accidentally stuffed those documents into a box mislabeled as something more mundane.

 

Well maybe he was going to sell them to the Russians. Perhaps he was more interested in selling them to the Saudi's since his son-in-law took 2 billion from them. Maybe he was just packing up some trinkets and he mistakenly put in some nuclear secrets. Perhaps he just trusted his lackeys to do it and they did a piss poor job.
