Not true not even close. He never created or owned the documents. The documents were always owned by the federal government. At best he was a caretaker and a corrupt one. He took them without providing a record of what he took and obstructed the search. He never had the right to take/own them.

 

It is in the constitution that a president or any other federal officer cant accept gifts. There are multiple laws detailing the ownership and use of government property. Clinton got in trouble over taking things from the White House after he left office. Obama, W, HW Bush and every other president had to document what he want in his library and have written permission. Trump has done nothing like this and isn’t even planning a library…..assuming he can find someplace to host it. Martin you and the others are full of shit and you at least know it.

 

Wrong. His predecessors had to request permission to take things and acknowledge the government owns them. If you’re old enough to remember or not senile if you are; Clinton got in trouble for taking things and had to return them.
