    Allen is a 3* on Scout and Rivals and Rivals rates him the #4 FB.

    With this news, Alex Singleton coming in for a visit this weekend, and mentions of Operum it looks very likely we will be taking a FB in this class.

    Singleton recieved an offer this week from Les along with Allen.

    I think Allen is a little better but Allen is a soft verbal to Tenn. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

    He won't add to our class' star power, but Allen is going to be an important pick-up for us.

    Recruiting Gurus I was wondering is there anyway LSU could steal a Jerod Askew, Marlon Walls, or David Oku since Philip Fulmer is stepping down now.

    Too early to tell but we did not recruit these guys too hard at any point. I think we talked with Oku a few times to gage his interest but that is all I remember.

    I wouldn't count on any of these to come our way.
