Even with all of his tomfoolery, i still believe he is the best QB or one of the best to ever play the game. Tough as nails.
i agree but i also agree he may implode and throw 30 picks and become the same favre we saw the previous 2 years. i think thats more likely than the one we saw last year. especially since he has a chip on his shoulder.
If he goes to Tampa, I hope it costs them dearly. Hopefully the interest from the Jets and Vikings will cause the Bucs to give up too much to get him. All of the attention given to the Packers, Bucs, Giants, and Cowboys this off-season could help the Saints. Hopefully the media and other teams will consider the 2006 season a fluke and not pay much attention to the Saints early on. This could bode well for New Orleans. Let them continue to talk about Favre, Chris Henry, Tony Romo's personal life, Pacman Jones, Michael Vick, etc. Other than a few days of Jeremy Shockey stories, there hasn't been a ton of stories about Reggie Bush, Duece, Katrina, etc.
Looks like I will be making the game against the Bucs in the Dome. I took hubby when we were dating the year they won the Super Bowl. They only had two losses that year- the Saints and the Saints. Yes, for all you reading hubby is a Bama, Bucs and Cubs fan. I've asked why before- Bama- for the Bear Bucs- Alstott and a few others Cubs- Some guy named Sandberg??
They only one that I even cared about in the slightest was his college team. He has since cheered for the Tigers on more than one occasion. Maybe one day he'll hang the LSU flag I bought for the front of our house...
