The Favre premature announcement has caused the Vegas odds makers to go nuts. The first day the news broke they were changing almost every teams season odds, based on if Favre wasn't playing. Almost everyone in the NFC jumped up in odds to the SB, division, and records if they played the Vikings. Then when the news started to change to noone is really sure if the story was true or not, all the odds makers started to adjust the odds again. Until finally many of the books just took the Vikings off the board for a couple of hours while the details of whether or not Favre was or is going to retire start to settle down.

The Saints vs Vikings season opener at one point went from Saints -4 1/2 to Saints -6 1/2. Bottom line is Vegas is kinda in a flux over what their odds will be at the start of the season, until the Favre 'Decision" is final.:dis:
