Ed Werder (ESPN) now saying Favre denies speaking to the Vikes about making any decision. So their (ESPN) reporter is now refuting the rumor his network first floated yesterday. I have heard Rush Limbaugh suggest to angry liberals who call his show to try going a week without watching network news and see if they feel better at the end of the week. I may try this approach with ESPN.
You know it. If that dumb@ss comes back after the beatdown the Saints D gave him in the NFC championship game then he's dumber than I thought he was. Which is pretty dumb.
Survey says ? Consider the source but Rodney Harrison ripping Favre: "You get to a point at 40 years old that you know exactly what you want to do — if you want to play football or not. And that's why I've been critical of this guy. Because it's so unfair to your teammates, it's unfair to your coaches, it's unfair to the city, the organization that you keep leaving people hung out to dry like that. I've never understood Brett Favre(notes). I just think he loves the media attention. At 40 years old, you know if you want to grind through an 18-week season. If I was a teammate of his, I'd probably be a little ticked off he's not in training camp." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/sh...lasts-Favre-for-selfishness-cr?urn=nfl-260223
I heard today the Vikes offered Brett a raise from his contract 13 mil to play this season, to 16 mil to play this year. I guess that's how you negotiate. Brett says his ankle hurts, could get him out of training camp, show up first week and go.
