I had hoped against hope that Les Miles would know that Nick Saban would know that he would run the same ineffective offense as in the 9-6 OT win and that Miles would adjust accordingly knowing full well that Saban would not only expect it but be prepared for it. But I expected that the stubborness of Les Miles would override any common sense that might be hiding under his hat. So, no, I was not surprised. I would have rather been surprised than right.
It was inevitable that 1/9/12 would creep into a favorite miles game thread. Shocked it took this long, really. The coonassery just couldn't let it go.
Another game I enjoyed was the SC game in 2012. We were in attendance and sat around some real cool Gamecock fans. It was an exciting game. I knew we didn't want anymore of Bama after that 9-6 win. We escaped with the win and should have campaigned to keep it that way. But as usual Les said he wanted them again and, boom, he screwed up the best season in Tiger history! T. Boone and OSU should have made a harder push, as their circumstance would have garnered more sympathy!
Will I get slapped if I say his last one? j/j He had some good ones for us. Just felt like too stubborn at times. But holy shit our SP Teams in 2011......Good god.
